[So the announcements were all sent out: it was time to discuss war plans and the plans are getting moved up. A location in Mianeh was secured, thanks to French contacts; they have a conference room in a hotel and the Saftan embassy sent over a few guards to keep an eye on things and one of the Earth ones swept it for bugs.]

[Lera is standing at the front of the room. She isn't obviously the Mazda; she has regular Saftan civilian clothing on to give her a surprise. The exception, of course, are those sharp golden eyes.]

[There are also some chocolate chip cookies, soft drinks on ice, and shrimp with cocktail sauce. She's waiting for everyone to arrive -- and is here early, like she always is -- before they start the spiel. Besides, they all need to get to know each other first. Of course, Ezra and Gabe probably came with her.]

[He really has no clue how enchanting works other than ingredient goes in and power-up comes out. Maybe if fangs are used for something, these particular fangs will make it stronger? It seems like something like this would have to contain extra power. Jordan's Dragon Bone reacted differently.

Adapting an old recipe or making a new one... if anyone can work with a godly ingredient to extract its power, it might be the Asha.

[Gabe just sort of stops as he reads Rhys' phone screen, his eyes widening and he just continues to stare at it for a moment or two. Really, he's not sure if he should be extremely excited about this or creeped out. Is both an option? Because both sounds good.]

I'm holding warhound teeth.

[The more he thinks about it, the more he realizes this is actually kind of awesome. He might even see about saving one or two, just to see what else he could do with them. When is he ever going to get another chance to mess with something like this?]

Okay, this is officially the best present ever. [Wheels are turning, Rhys. You have no idea what you've started.] If I can figure out how to work with it, you get the first enchant I can make out of it. Least I can do.

[Rhys brightens with the reaction. Gabe seems to like it for more than its usefulness...! Maybe the Asha is a good fit. It's always one mystery after the next with mages, isn't it? He wonders how many understand what they do or why it works. Trying to understand too much leads to going crazy. Literally.

I won't say no to that.
I'll ask Virelai to get more in future battles.

He doesn't actually have to ask. It was only the Undertow's petrification that kept her from dragging an entire carcass back for armor.

Maybe he should keep an eye out for interesting ingredients in general...? Even in peace time, Rhys goes toe-to-toe with a lot of monsters.]

[Wait, he could potentially get more? Somehow, that thought hadn't occurred to him, but it's enough to make his entire face light up and give Rhys another hug.

Also, yes, Rhys. All the interesting ingredients. ♥ He's already plotting out either grinding a tooth into powder or trying to shave a little off the tooth and see what he can do with it.]

[He slides back with the sudden hug to keep his balance, catching Gabe.

If he'd known Gabe would've enjoyed it this much, he'd have looked for more things sooner. Though it's hard to beat the teeth of a god's servant. Still... Zenderael has a lot of interesting ingredients.

He returns the hug, making a note to keep it in mind.]
