[Victor/Ashtaroth/Chisaki] - Let's Get Drunk!
Who: Victor, Ashtaroth, Chisaki
When: Thursday the 11th, at night!
Where: A bar in the Nenakret.
Before/After: After Chisaki's e-mail to Victor.
Warnings: TBD. Probably swearing because Chisaki.
[A little bit of conferring with Victor led to an amazing plan: GETTING DRUNK. Chisaki is looking forward to this, even if she has no earthly clue whether molavvas can do that or if it takes epic amounts of booze to affect them. Whatever, she has loot stolen from druids from the war and nothing to spend it on. Booze time.]
[She stands outside of one of the Nenakret's bars. News of the war meant the curfew was relaxed through the weekend, for celebrations to occur, which Saftans and French are doing happily. She leans up against the wall, arms crossed over her chest. She has a black, form-fitting shirt and baggy Saftan pants on, instead of her usual gear. She's bathed and washed too. She feels almost good.]
[It's easy to push the bad parts of what happened, everything with Ravindra, the lack of communication with Nova, to the back of her mind. It's time for drinking!]

I just wanted to be responsible.
[A general statement. Victor why are you such a sad and sentimental drunk]
My lips keep tingling.
no subject
[ right? ]
Right?
[ she looks at chisaki. right?
the statement is a little confusing. ] Hm? Are you cold?
no subject
[She glances at Ash. Did Ash want to know if people can be responsible while drunk? Well, thankfully, she can lie.]
They can be responsible as all hell!
no subject
[But Victor can't lie!]
No. What? No. Name one good decision anyone ever made while drunk.
no subject
Because I'm not drunk.
[ whoa okay two conflicting accounts, though victor's seems more reliable ]
... you did just put a steak in your jacket.
[ that didn't sound like a good decision in the least. ]
no subject
[She doesn't believe you! She is SO responsible, you guys, you don't even know.]
I mostly pay my rent!
no subject
You get drunk every time you pay rent?
[He doesn't not believe that...]
no subject
no subject
[Sip.]
Sometimes. It's science.
no subject
[He's idly rubbing his thumb over his lip, but stops himself, self conscious. It's really not that uncommon okay.]
It doesn't count if you're not drunk!
Drunk is how bar fights start with the sort of partner of your almost ex-boyfriend.

[He looks between them both. What do you mean what!]
We were never really-- we could have been, but then I was in exile. And disappeared for a year. Then we couldn't be seen together. And there was someone else? It was open. But I couldn't really... and he didn't want... I don't know. He picked him over me.
So I started talking to my player.
[...]
It's complicated.
[He should have started it and ended it with that, in retrospect.]
no subject
well.
this is a revelation.
not a good revelation.
she stares at him. she didn't even realize there had been someone like that in his history.
which is dumb.
because she's dumb.
and maybe kind of drunk. ]
... oh.
[ ...she takes up her drink again and sticks her straw in her mouth and turns towards the bar ]
no subject
[THIS IS AWKWARD. If Chisaki was sober, she'd walk away from this with a paper thin excuse because Ash is clearly off put and that gets awkward. But hey, she likes Victor.]
[She even likes Ash. She's fun to mess with. That counts. Victor's fun to mess with. Well...]
[Logic dictates she change the subject and unite them. But all she can do is mutual outrage.]
Last time I went on a real date with a guy, we made out in his car and I hit the parking brake when we were doing shit, and the car rolled down a hill and smashed into a tree?
no subject
[Chisaki, you are a bro.]
A car? Aren't those dangerous?
I think that's what mauled Rhys...
no subject
[ omg how can you talk so naturally about 1) making out and 2) vaguely imagined car accidents!
she looks at victor ] B-but they need someone to operate them...?
no subject
Yeah, but neither of us had our hands on the wheel.
no subject
I think I'll stick to mounts. They sound more predictable.
[ha. ha.]
no subject
she sips her drink again. she has nothing to add to this conversation. ]
no subject
[She nods sagely.]
no subject
Usually.
... I still think the side trip to the coastal islands was on purpose.
[Ash has gotten quiet though...
Because you're a big dumb idiot, Victor]Getting tired?
no subject
...hm? Oh. Ummm... [ she does feel suddenly tired. maybe it's just wanting to get out of this situation, though she wouldn't be aware of that in the least. jealousy is a very tiring emotion! ] Yeah, I think so. Sorry. [ now she feels even worse because this was supposed to be his night out with a friend and here she is, ruining it. ]
I'll stay until you're done?
no subject
no subject
[Pause. He looks to Chisaki.]
Right?
Anyway-- [Ash again.] Let's get you home.
