[EVENT] - Valentine's Solstice
Who: Open!
When: Monday the 20th through Wednesday the 22nd (Bonfire on the 21st)
Where: Days' End League Hall
Before/After: N/A
Warnings: Violence (Val/Nova), vomit (a few threads??), fireworks, mention of death
[Valentine is hosting a Solstice party at Days' End! Some got invited, and if she ran into you anywhere for longer than two minutes she may have invited you. There is booze and games and dancing and floral wreaths and festival foods and everything. If Val saw you at the party you may well have gotten wreathed.]
[It's a pretty open-invite party though, so even if you weren't personally invited, wandering in off the street is perfectly acceptable. They've got a few random partiers showing up, both Earthers and Zenners, and there are several Earthers residing on the premisis also in attendance, as well as most of Days' End's members.]
[The bonfire gets lit early Tuesday and Valentine and Flambre keep it going through the day into the wee hours of the night (except for around one hour after sunset where she runs off to attend the druid ceremonies). The majority of the loud partying will likely happen on that day.]

[Now a 'who' question, gosh, what to say...]
[Well, Lera had nicknamed hers Tuesday and Thursday, giving no more than the location and gender besides! So!]
Le's call 'im Marshal, 'cause t'was inna marsh, ya see. 'e was pretty cute, red hair, smelled nice. [Shrug!]
Y'think Marlene's hot?
no subject
[She doesn't like insects or alligators.]
Uh, she's cute, but--you know, just a friend. [She shakes her head.] Funny, too!
[Now it's time for a considering glance.]
You said all boys before. Does that mean you'd never get with a girl? Not that I'm interested, here!
no subject
Crocobears, mebbe. Dunno 'bout alligators. Bugs, though, sure, th'size'a yer head! But ah'm a druid, y'think ah can't just shoo 'em off?
[Gosh Lera, you don't know much about Zenderael do you. Maybe she's one of those non-players...]
Dunno! Mebbe? Never really thought 'bout it. [Now she was thinking about it. She didn't really know any ladies she'd be interested in.]
[Or guys, really.]
Who didja play? [Time to pryyyyy!]
no subject
[Exasperated siiiigh. But hey, Val is changing the subject, which is maybe a relief, because while she could finally air out some silly thoughts, it never stopped being awkward.]
[Except wait, that subject is horrible. She gets a guilty look on his face.]
Ah... Acher Ostendramm. Do you know of him?
no subject
Flambre wouldn' let 'em near me!
[She looks thoughtful. Acher, Acher.]
Don' sound f'miliar, nope. What is 'e? [From what she's heard, all those that had players were in one guild or another.]
no subject
[Lera suspects that "was" won't be left alone. She stares at Val for a moment, a guilty expression shooting across his face.]
He lost that. He decided to betray Bastan, go fight with Aerveas.
[She frowns.]
So now he's... I dunno, really.
no subject
Paladins're borin' anyway. [Shrug]
[What, she doesn't care about the war, ok.]
What'd you make a paladin fer? Yer not that borin'. [This is not at all weird, an alt talking to a player about why they made their own alt.]
no subject
Thanks... uh, it was a story idea, and I liked the way the class played. This was -- I mean, it was a game, then.
[Sort of. She was looking for a friend, but she never realized how much Zenderael was not a game when she started. That came later.]
I'm, uh, probably gonna become a spellsword myself. So that's where my heart is.
[Because it involves flashy pyrotechnics and swordplay. Some people are kids at heart.]

[Val grabs another drink off the table and drinks it back, then points at Lera with the empty glass.] Y'up fer more cuttin' loose'r 'ave ya hit yer limit?
no subject
[Lera goes for the nearest full glass -- which may be the glass of someone who walked away -- and raises it up.]
Cheers!
no subject
Brilliant booze an' fancy footwork!
[And that glass is emptied, too.]
[And then she's grabbing Lera by the wrist to drag her back towards the bonfire- DANCING TIME]
