[EVENT] - Valentine's Solstice
Who: Open!
When: Monday the 20th through Wednesday the 22nd (Bonfire on the 21st)
Where: Days' End League Hall
Before/After: N/A
Warnings: Violence (Val/Nova), vomit (a few threads??), fireworks, mention of death
[Valentine is hosting a Solstice party at Days' End! Some got invited, and if she ran into you anywhere for longer than two minutes she may have invited you. There is booze and games and dancing and floral wreaths and festival foods and everything. If Val saw you at the party you may well have gotten wreathed.]
[It's a pretty open-invite party though, so even if you weren't personally invited, wandering in off the street is perfectly acceptable. They've got a few random partiers showing up, both Earthers and Zenners, and there are several Earthers residing on the premisis also in attendance, as well as most of Days' End's members.]
[The bonfire gets lit early Tuesday and Valentine and Flambre keep it going through the day into the wee hours of the night (except for around one hour after sunset where she runs off to attend the druid ceremonies). The majority of the loud partying will likely happen on that day.]

[It isn't quite a flash, though. She has to bolt across to a few bars -- WHERE THE HELL WAS THIS -- and then finally finds it. She comes back a bit out of breath, but in her hand is a drink that has every color of the rainbow.]
[She holds it out like it's the font of all godly power.]

she's thinking about these things when chisaki comes back, and she stares at the drink in amazement. ]
...Chisaki Andrews. You are... an amazing person. This drink is an amazing drink.
[ she stares at it a long moment before she tilts it back and drinks it

she brings the glass down when it's empty and sighs. it burns but that doesn't bother her so much now ]
Green. What kind of green? Like an emerald? Or grass? A traffic light?
[ she turns back to the fire, motioning aimlessly with a hand, though there is definitely something gathering. it takes a moment before the heart of the fire starts to turn a bright emerald ]

grass green, grass green... there's a lot of grass around to copy! it takes a bit of focus but she kind of just settles in to thinking about grass, and how green it is, and lovely and lush on a nice day...
and the fire (and some of the elementals around the fire) start turning a cheerful spring green ]

[Yeah, she's pretty drunk now. She applauds, even, despite the fact some people are giving them dirty looks. Including those fire elementals. But whatever. They're green.]
