[EVENT] - Valentine's Solstice

[Valentine is hosting a Solstice party at Days' End! Some got invited, and if she ran into you anywhere for longer than two minutes she may have invited you. There is booze and games and dancing and floral wreaths and festival foods and everything. If Val saw you at the party you may well have gotten wreathed.]

[It's a pretty open-invite party though, so even if you weren't personally invited, wandering in off the street is perfectly acceptable. They've got a few random partiers showing up, both Earthers and Zenners, and there are several Earthers residing on the premisis also in attendance, as well as most of Days' End's members.]

[The bonfire gets lit early Tuesday and Valentine and Flambre keep it going through the day into the wee hours of the night (except for around one hour after sunset where she runs off to attend the druid ceremonies). The majority of the loud partying will likely happen on that day.]

You literally did it too. [It's said sourly instead of angrily, though. She reaches down into her pocket and hastily pulls out some hand sanitizer, squeezing some on her hands.]

[She extends the bottle out towards Rei and Alex both. She doesn't care which take it.]

Here. It's a cleaning solution. It'll get the alcohol off your hands.

[ there's a brief pause where she has to take a glance down to double check ] No... [ maybe a little disappointed? she blinks, turning around to look to lera, having no idea what the two of them are arguing about. more than usual she has to stare at things before actions follow suit and she reaches out to take the bottle, taking one look at the instructions and ingredients on the back before dismissing it all summarily because there's no way she can read that in this state lera jeez, and settles herself on her backside a moment while she tries to figure out how to get the lid off before offering it to alex ]

[ he affords a brief glance at the bottle before dismissing it ]

You saw me do it. You really don't have a lot going for you, you know that?

[ no rei why are you taking that, that's from the enemy!! he takes it from her, then immediately gives it back to lera. WE DON'T NEED YOUR PESKY PLAYER EARTHER HELP, PESKY EARTHER PLAYER.

with that, he gets up (not without a brief sway!) and holds his hand out for rei to take. ]

[Lera frowns when it's handed back to her. She looks down at it, then she shrugs, and stands back up. She wipes at her lips with her sleeve and stares at Alex for a second.]

Okay...

[There's a guilty glance at Reilanin. Does she hate her too? It would make some sense; Alex could have told her about Lera and Acher. Maybe Akhilendra could. Even if not, it's awkward.]

[This is exactly what she wanted to avoid.]

[mumbled, maybe even a bit defeated] Sorry for falling into you.

[ what- but- alex ): bottle of stuff! she watches it get passed back to lera, and she takes a moment to give her a good look.

you're in luck, lera! reilanin has no idea who you are. as alex gets up, she already has her hands in the air, making no move to try and get up herself. why should she? this whole getting other people to pull her up business, she kind of likes it. when he's ready, she grabs on to his hand and gets up, automatically grabbing around his waist to make sure she stays that way ]

Chisaki Andrews said that Nova is here, but I haven't seen him yet... is he avoiding me, maybe?...

[ rei hanging onto him is genuinely surprising. he wraps his arm around her, then starts off without another word or glance to lera.

the shot glass is left on the ground.

[Lera looks down at the shot glass, then back at Alex and Rei. At least there didn't seem to be any animosity in Rei's look at her, but Alex walking away proves only small comfort.]

[He may well tell Acher where she is, forcing her to deal with that. She has a plan, if a selfish one, that could put the Amber Gaze in danger. It doesn't stop her from taking the risk, but the idea of it coming up doesn't make her feel better.]

[She walks away after a little bit, making her way back to another part of the party and looking for another drink. She could use it, she thinks.]
