[EVENT] - Valentine's Solstice
Who: Open!
When: Monday the 20th through Wednesday the 22nd (Bonfire on the 21st)
Where: Days' End League Hall
Before/After: N/A
Warnings: Violence (Val/Nova), vomit (a few threads??), fireworks, mention of death
[Valentine is hosting a Solstice party at Days' End! Some got invited, and if she ran into you anywhere for longer than two minutes she may have invited you. There is booze and games and dancing and floral wreaths and festival foods and everything. If Val saw you at the party you may well have gotten wreathed.]
[It's a pretty open-invite party though, so even if you weren't personally invited, wandering in off the street is perfectly acceptable. They've got a few random partiers showing up, both Earthers and Zenners, and there are several Earthers residing on the premisis also in attendance, as well as most of Days' End's members.]
[The bonfire gets lit early Tuesday and Valentine and Flambre keep it going through the day into the wee hours of the night (except for around one hour after sunset where she runs off to attend the druid ceremonies). The majority of the loud partying will likely happen on that day.]

Re: Wednesday: Chisaki 'nd Nova
[She isn't supposed to be having fun, she is supposed to be surviving! Whatever, though, hangovers aren't time for personal introspection.]
[Wait, Nova's talking. WHY IS HE SO LOUD, WHY IS EVERYTHING SO LOUD. Those words mean things, though.]
How's that working out for you?
no subject
I'll let you know how it works out after it's worked out.
no subject
Guess that's fair. [hm, wait, what was it Rei did...]
Up.
no subject
he looks back incredulously
and heads back to retrieve her, pulling her up]
Up. Now out.
[bluuh if he doesn't have to stop to hurl]
no subject
[She stumbles along after, tripping a bit on herself. She winds up falling forward a little and grabs his shoulder to regain her balance.]
We going back to your house? In... what was that place called again?
no subject
...I guess so. Do you even live anywhere? [shut up he doesn't care if that question makes sense]
Don't jostle me, I feel sick. [he presses onward; they are a sad sight]
no subject
[guess who might still be drunk since tying Nova to a tree last night]
[and oh look! Chisaki! Leaving with that jerk? Hmph!]
Chisakiiii~! [Val, so cheerful, so chipper, sing-songing high-pitched as she comes up to give Chisaki a pat on the shoulder, ignoring THAT GUY]
Leavin' already?
no subject
[Oh, shit! Here comes Val! Didn't they fight? Except that Val appears to be all smiles and ignoring Nova. Whatever that it is, it works out for her.]
[Chisaki's smile is tired and a little forced, but she does show some genuine happiness.] Yeah, I think this Earth girl is kinda partied out. It was a lot of fun, though. We can do it again sometime, y'know? The drinking thing.
[She looks at Nova once.] Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on Hairball here.
[Hey Nova you have a nickname!! :D]
no subject
[OH SHIT IT'S THAT DRUID
and she's besties with Chisaki somehow
just... sending hate rays with his eyes
except maybe he should stop that, it seems like he's somehow off the hook for the attempted murder
best not to attract attention
in fact he's going to literally try to sneak away]
no subject
Hey, Hairball! [She likes the nickname!] Ah lost yer knife.
[back to Chisaki] 'e tell ya 'e tried ta kill me las' night? After makin' me lose mosta me booze, an' pullin' me 'air! What a dick.
no subject
[Back to Val, too, possibly while holding Nova's collar] Yeah, he mentioned. Sorry about that, he had a lot to drink and got out of sight and missed my--
[look at Nova] --TOTALLY AWESOME FIREWORKS DISPLAY.
no subject
and being held onto
how about an effort at being conciliatory]
I didn't quite mean to, though!
Also I'm pretty sure you started it. [he's not good at this]
no subject
[those were some pretty awesome fireworks]
[and then she's squinting at Nova]
Did not!
[was it mentioned she's drunk?]
no subject
Don't try to kill the party's host, it's usually a party foul. Unless it's one of those parties.
Oh--fuck, my head hurts when I shake you.
[sigh! And a look at Val] You... ever stop drinking, by the way?
no subject
ty very much Chisaki]
no subject
[Val puts her hand on Chisaki's head and gives her a simple touch-heal, the tingly nature spell flowing through her fingers into the woman's head, enough to get rid of the symptoms of a hangover]
[she squints over at Nova but then just sticks her tongue out at him- her equivalent to 'nhfy'.]
I ain't drinkin' now! Oh, an' drink some water. Or it'll come back.
no subject
[Chisaki looks genuinely surprised for a moment. The headache, the stomachache, all of it's just gone. It's like the hangover never happened. This, she decides, is the most amazing thing to ever amaze her.]
Thanks, Val... that's actually fucking awesome. How'd you do that? [...splash] It's--
[That's vomit on her shoes. She makes a face, turns her head, and looks at Nova--oh, no, he's spewing--]
[Tragically, Chisaki has a sympathetic gag reflex. Her eyes bulge. And then, sympathetically, she spews all over Nova.]
no subject
omz
just as he's recovered from his own vomiting spell, Chisaki manages to hurl over his shoulder, down his back, and of course, in his hair
he gags, fighting off a second wave, and glares at her]
...Monster guts.
no subject
[. . .]
[Backing away now. BUT SHE IS STILL SO FUCKING CHEERFUL!]
H'okay then! Ah'll let ya two go on yer way, yeah? Safe travels!
no subject
Y-Yeah. Uh... see you later.
[She looks back at Nova, shakes her head, and pats him on the shoulder like twice as hard as is appropriate.]
One night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble.
no subject
[he resumes his march homeward, grimly]
no subject
[following along loyally, la la la~]
