so i've got ravi teaching me healing magic. he seems to be doing okay. says he hasn't had another switch since he first left. i told him he was free to come and go if he needed to, give him some space for himself. that seemed to put him at ease.

ps ravi makes a pretty hot woman. (me not so much.)

ugh, the last thing i want is to be even partly involved with alex, but i can't shy away from it i guess. and yeah, if he's got this other personality, a leash ain't gonna do much good anyway. and what if alex comes after him or something? so many things i don't wanna deal with if i don't have to.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure if Akhi starts fronting while Ravi's in Bastan, he'll just pick up and head for Alex, and Ravi will come back when he's fronting again. As long as you let that happen, I don't think there will be any problems.

Alright, so, Alex is a molavvas, basically vrylak-tainted? He is a lot older than he looks. His town got razed and he was turned molavvas during that, and his friend Akhilendra was the only other survivor. They latched onto each other pretty hard. But Akhi was killed, reincarnated as Ravi, and Alex found him and struck up a friendship because he wanted Akhi back. That's your backstory.

I never meant it to happen like this, but Ravi's pretty much got dissociative identity disorder with Akhi as his alter now. Switches happen, I don't know, anything that'll create a dissociative state probably.

Akhi seems well-adjusted and easy-going, but he is batfuck crazy, he's just subtle about it. He is also fiercely loyal to Alex and has no love lost for Bastan. If he ever shows up, treat him politely and allow him to leave, because I figure the first thing he's going to do every time is head back to Alex and as long as you don't try to stop him, I don't think he'll cause any trouble.

eh not much to be done about it now. i'll just keep you updated how i can. i think he's going back to wherever later today. i've been able to get most of the more believable info from rasmus, so i think i avoided suspicion that way. i think i got all i need for info for the time being. just gonna try to avoid overwhelming him for now.

wish i could see her. nadir's never really interacted with other spellswords, not since he was in his twenties at least... he's usually been around... well, his merc group. don't see a reason they shouldn't get along despite that.

feels weird trying to worry about it now. i mean, even being able to communicate like this probably won't last long at the rate things are going.

you know i never really went over it with him, but i kind of wonder how much he actually remembers of his league and marianne. i did switch him over from another server, and didn't go much into his backstory on everea, so there's mentions but... with the way it's been working, i wonder how much of his own backstory he knows.

[... that... is not going to make Nadir happy... but he must have realized it by now, right? Unless he's been avoiding thinking about it, too...]

yeah, not much to be done about it. i'll watch out for ravi.
