[EVENT] - Valentine's Solstice
Who: Open!
When: Monday the 20th through Wednesday the 22nd (Bonfire on the 21st)
Where: Days' End League Hall
Before/After: N/A
Warnings: Violence (Val/Nova), vomit (a few threads??), fireworks, mention of death
[Valentine is hosting a Solstice party at Days' End! Some got invited, and if she ran into you anywhere for longer than two minutes she may have invited you. There is booze and games and dancing and floral wreaths and festival foods and everything. If Val saw you at the party you may well have gotten wreathed.]
[It's a pretty open-invite party though, so even if you weren't personally invited, wandering in off the street is perfectly acceptable. They've got a few random partiers showing up, both Earthers and Zenners, and there are several Earthers residing on the premisis also in attendance, as well as most of Days' End's members.]
[The bonfire gets lit early Tuesday and Valentine and Flambre keep it going through the day into the wee hours of the night (except for around one hour after sunset where she runs off to attend the druid ceremonies). The majority of the loud partying will likely happen on that day.]

[Eh, a deal is a deal.]
Well... I guess Thursday was better than Tuesday, which was part of the problem when we got back.
[Siiiiigh.]
Your turn!
no subject
[She leans in real close to half-whisper to Lera.]
Rumor says ah slept wit' th'boss.
[Eyebrows waggle and she stands upright again, grinning. It was only a rumor, but Lera probably didn't know that.]
no subject
Rumors aren't dirty little secrets, Val.
no subject
[Stern nod.]
no subject
[She looks more baffled than disbelieving. Blame the alcohol.]
no subject
[Brief pause.]
Wait, does that'un count, too?
no subject
I met her on Earth!
no subject
[Another short pause.]
She's th'borin' sister.
no subject
[Which appears to be true. But Val is definitely the fun one!]
Aw, she isn't boring! We'd go drinking and sing karaoke together! Which isn't a secret.
[Pause.]
Wait, I shouldn't point out the rules when it doesn't benefit me. That actually is a secret.
no subject
[Then she realizes Lera said something weird. Karaoke? Was that a Earth song? Or a band?]
[...She doesn't actually care enough to ask.]
Is yer turn, though. Make it a good'un!
no subject
Okay, okay, um... no, I didn't remember her name! This is easy when you ask so many questions at once.
[Drunken laughter time!]
Wait, crap, I'm out of your questions! Whatever! Your turn!
no subject
Mebbe ah should make ya ask me questions! [She pouts.]
no subject
[Ask and ye shall receive.]
Boys, girls, or both? Wait, the boss is a boy, so that's half-answered... [Siiiigh.] Questions are hard!
no subject
Boys, ah guess? Never bin wit'a woman.
[Wait, shit, that just cut off half her options for untrue secrets! Curses.]
[She eyes Lera.]
'ow many?
no subject
Three. Four depending what your definition of "is" is.
[Head tilt.]
I can't quite place your accent. What is it? Wait, no, that's a crappy question...
no subject
An' that counts as yer question! [VICTORY maybe, she's asking another question anyway, who cares if it wasn't a dirty question SHE DOESN'T.]
Who was yer favorite?
no subject
[sigh]
Um... Thursday at the Cancun, but it's a close race with a guy I dated once. [Is naming somebody Thursday in your head mean? Something to ponder when she's sober. Or never, because she won't remember.]
How many for you?
no subject
[...But dang, she'd been hoping to avoid that question.]
[She glances up as though trying to think of how many and count them out in her head, when in truth, she's trying to figure out what number would be decent without seeming like 'holy shit that many??? But if Lera only three or four...]
Seven.
[That wasn't many, was it?]
When was th' last'un?
no subject
H-How old are you? [crap! Spoke too soon!]
I, um, it's been about two years. The fall out from the Cancun trip was pretty rough.
no subject
'ow old do ah look? [Wait, that could end poorly-]
[A scowl is added to that for good measure.]
no subject
Maybe twenty?
no subject
'ow old were ya wit' yer first?
[Totally her turn right?]
no subject
[Awkward about that one, actually. But no arguments about it being her turn.]
Who was your first?
no subject
[Now a 'who' question, gosh, what to say...]
[Well, Lera had nicknamed hers Tuesday and Thursday, giving no more than the location and gender besides! So!]
Le's call 'im Marshal, 'cause t'was inna marsh, ya see. 'e was pretty cute, red hair, smelled nice. [Shrug!]
Y'think Marlene's hot?
no subject
[She doesn't like insects or alligators.]
Uh, she's cute, but--you know, just a friend. [She shakes her head.] Funny, too!
[Now it's time for a considering glance.]
You said all boys before. Does that mean you'd never get with a girl? Not that I'm interested, here!
