[Valentine is hosting a Solstice party at Days' End! Some got invited, and if she ran into you anywhere for longer than two minutes she may have invited you. There is booze and games and dancing and floral wreaths and festival foods and everything. If Val saw you at the party you may well have gotten wreathed.]

[It's a pretty open-invite party though, so even if you weren't personally invited, wandering in off the street is perfectly acceptable. They've got a few random partiers showing up, both Earthers and Zenners, and there are several Earthers residing on the premisis also in attendance, as well as most of Days' End's members.]

[The bonfire gets lit early Tuesday and Valentine and Flambre keep it going through the day into the wee hours of the night (except for around one hour after sunset where she runs off to attend the druid ceremonies). The majority of the loud partying will likely happen on that day.]

If you feel he's your friend, that's what's important, I think. So even if he's insufferable -- and, you know, I got no particular reason to like this guy -- that's okay. It doesn't reflect badly on you for being friends with one of us proles, I guess.

He's got his Zen tablet, an Earth one for comparison, a smartphone, and a few other things scattered around his home in various states of dismantling. he brought the phone. much easier to carry around than the tablet without much loss of functionality]

[So he casually takes the phone out of his pocket, aims it at Lera, and starts recording her ridiculous little tantrum.]

[a drunkba approaches unsteadily, and decides it would be a good idea to use Artemis as a brake, setting a hand on his shoulder and wobbling to a stop, possibly interfering with his careful camera work

he peers down at the phone which is currently occupying Arty's attention]

[Lera is still throwing her temper tantrum when Nova approaches. However, then, her brain starts to catch up with her eyes. There's stunned shock at first, plainly visible on her face, because Nova is right in front of her. Some of the danger of this is obvious.]

You! Nova! [unfortunately, she's drunk] He just said you are his bestest of best friends in the whole, wide world!

And then started making fun of me!
